This is an excellent hybrid. It sets up very square, with only a hint of offset (I prefer very little offset on my irons). I am amazed at how workable this club is. I can draw/fade it very easily. I can punch it low into the wind if needed, and I hit it on a beautiful low-mid trajectory with a normal swing.
Head/shaft feel very stable through impact, even on off-center hits. I love the Aldila RIP shaft. Might reshaft my driver and 3-wood with it after getting this hybrid.
No more 2-iron for me. This thing is much much easier for me to hit.
My Favorite Feature Easy to hit and workable.

Seriously has taken 5 strokes off my game by this addition to my bag. The 190-210 clubs are now in my bag, easy to hit and give me a chance the green. Long par 4s no longer intimaidate. I welcome them and then I birdie them.
My Favorite Feature So much easier execute shots than long irons.

I took a different approach here - I ordered the Idea Pro a 12 - with the ProForce VTS shaft....and it is money!!!
Last weekend, I hit three (3) of four (4) - par 5's with this club. Beautiful ball flight / trajectory.
Love the way the ball - jumps off the face. As a 3 handicap - this club will be a game-changer for me.
My only concern - would be hitting this club out of sand trap - as you would definitely damage the face.

I Play the Adams CB1 irons and needed something to fill gapbetween 3 wood and 3 iron. I have taken a long time to convert to Hybrids but this was an easy decision. like the size and I like the fact that it shows wear after a while. they create their own identity and personality, the same with the irons. the wear on the face tells a story, they represent my game and the shots I play. Love them!!! I looked at the Hybrids in Rickey Fowlers bag, also the black Adams, the show the signs of working tools. this is what a Golf Club is.
My Favorite Feature They wear and show the effects of my game, they become personal.

By far the best hybrid I have ever used. Adams has always outdone themselves in the hybrid category, but the Idea Pro A12 is by far the best players' hybrid out there. I have had this club in the bag for the entire 2011 season and it was almost instantly on of my "go to" clubs (I generally play 4-8 rounds a week). The head has a great sound, feel, and shows no problem getting the ball out even from tight lies. I would recommend to any player from about a 12-10 handicap on down. The look is great but the black finish will wear as you use and it, but it is a very small price to pay for such a good club. The wear of the finish is the only bad aspect about this club what so ever. Kudos for offering two great shafts. I opted to get the Matrix.
My Favorite Feature Great feel off the face and easy to get down after the ball especially for a hybrid.

I am a 3.3 handicap, and have tried many hybrids but have always preferred longer irons. (3, 4). I bought the 20 degree with xs RIP, thinking it would replace my 3 iron even thigh it's a 4 iron loft. I hit this club 215-230....basically a 3 iron, and it is so easy to hit. Am buying the 16 degree.......for safe shots off the tee to tight fairways. Buy this club.........

I've been playing with the Adams A7 hybrid for the past year, and recently put the new Pro A12 20* hybrid in my bag. I loved my A7, but what I really love about the new Pro A12 is the improved ability I have to flight the golf ball lower when I need to. For a "players" hybrid, it is incredibly forgiving for it's size - and the appearance is very clean and easy on the eyes. When I step up to the ball, I felt instantly confident that I could shape the golf ball that way I wanted.
This club is without a doubt my new favorite club!
