Just played my third round with my new CB3 irons.
I love the way these clubs feel when you strike the ball. There is a crispness that I have never felt in any of my previous sets.
They are extremely forgiving, have a great feel and my distance has increased 6-10 yards per club!

As a 16 handicap, I am usually the "hacker" in my group of friends. But these clubs provide a great deal of confidence in my game.
Plus, the look of these clubs is really cool. I have actually convinced several of my friends (8-12) handicaps to switch to these clubs.

I am an 8 to 10 handicap and was looking for something to help my game get to the next level. I traditionally have been a Callaway snob and always was looking for the next big thing from their company. Not anymore. I was trying the new Callaway irons at Edwin Watts and the associate helping said I should try a couple of other new products, CB3 being one of them.
Wow, what a difference from the first swing. I have played forged irons before, but these just felt different from the first ball strike. Ball speed increased and i can control spin much better than I was able to before. I typically hit a 6 iron around 185. This last weekend I reached a 197 yd par three and made the ball stick one foot behind it's divet. These clubs are the real deal.
My only regret is not getting the KBS tour 120 shafts. Flight control is a bit of an issue with the 90 gram shaft, especially if you already hit a high ball like I do. All in all, Adams hit a home run with these irons.

This is only my third season of playing this wonderful game, but I'm playing and improving enough it is time for a new set of clubs. I replaced my first set, Idea A3OS, with the new Adams Golf Idea Black CB3. The feel and feedback I'm getting when I strike the ball with the CB3 irons has improved my game a lot. I can now feel when I make a mistake, and I'm able to correct it. I couldn't do that nearly as well before. I'm able to lag the clubhead and strike the ball consistently with this CB3 set much better than the A3OS. Overall distance and accurracy have improved for me, enough to shave four strokes off my previous regular scores. I'm posting scores consistently around 90 now, sometimes below.
I'm very happy with the look of the clubs too, the Idea Black CB3 turns heads when people see them for the first time. But the best thing is the feel, I just can't say enough about how good it feels when I strike the ball and how much feedback I get from every swing.
Gave the A3OS set to my dad (he's 88) and he just loves them. Different clubs for different players, Adams makes something for everyone.

I have played three rounds with the CB3's and hit a fair amount of balls with them. I can honestly say they are a fantastic club in every way. I live in TX and it is often very windy. This requires a variety of shots (low, high, fade, draw, etc.), and these clubs deliver. One of the best soles of a club I have ever seen. Glides through the stickiest Bermuda grass with ease. Clubs have a fantastic feel and forgiveness, simply amazing. Clubs are a little longer than "normal", but the lie is set perfectly for the extra length. Can't say enough about the clubs, would highly recommend them to anyone from a -1 to a 15 handicap. One thing I will say is I am not a fan of the KBS Tour 90 shaft; at least at my swing speed, and tempo. I have a semi quick tempo and a swing speed with my driver @100. I have the KBS Tour Stiff in the clubs and it is perfect. Fast swingers, get a heavier shaft, trust me.

I have been playing Callaway’s for the last few years, first the X Tour with a Dynamic Gold S300 shaft for a few years, following up more recently with the Big Bertha Diablo forged with Regular Graphite shafts (getting older! Hence the reasoning behind the shaft change). My accuracy has suffered with the Diablo’s, and they felt very harsh when the ball was not struck perfectly! But distance was good. I have been looking round for some new clubs for a while now and have tried Ping G20’s, Titleist AP1’s, amongst a host of others. Recently it was time to change my old Taylor Made rescues and I tried the Adams range because of their great reputation, I finally finished up buying both 18 and 23 degree IDEA A12 Pro rescues which are absolutely amazing! So I thought I would try some Adams Irons too. Went along to the Direct Golf range where I was recommended to try a couple of different sets. After hitting them both I fell in love with the IDEA Black CB3, they are very forgiving, workable and the feel of the ball face is really soft. I was also recommended to move back to the stiff steel lightweight shaft as my club head speed was measured at 82 mph. So I had the lie adjusted and bought them there and then. Played with them the following day and had one of my best rounds for ages, they are certainly as long as the Diablo’s if not longer, cant wait to play again, these are a classy club that look great behind the ball as well as being forgiving, I would recommend these clubs to anyone who takes there game seriously and wants to play to the best of their ability. I am now an ADAMS convert!

If you're looking for a forged feel player's club with game improvement features...look NO further. Just played 12 holes(bad weather) with my new CB-3's and didn't miss a green. I hit 2 iron shots on each hole and didn't miss with either ball. Didn't have to chip once in 12 holes!
Great looks, great feel, great distance even on mis-hits.
Had tried many game improvement irons over the last 3 years including a7's and nothing felt right. CB-3's are the answer!! Love the KBS shafts! Light weight/responsive! Adams has hit the jackpot with these CB-3 irons!

I looked for my new set of irons for about 4 months. I wanted to wait until the new clubs came out for this year and check out last year versus this year. I am not usually a big believer that golf clubs change that much, but I was so wrong. I came from a Nike set of irons, and these CB3 are far and away better than my old set.
The features that I like are the soft feel, the control I can have in shaping my shots, and the looks. They look amazing!
I just feel that I can hit a good shot when I approach the ball. These clubs deliver.
