I have been playing blades for a good bit now. Mizuno's, Wilson, Cleveland's, and now Adams. Feel wise these are top notch. I have the same length +/- a couple yards, and workability now as with the others, but the feel is probably best with these. I hit the ball a lot lower with these even with the same shafts I have in others but still carry the ball roughly the same yardage. Now please keep in mind, off center hits, sting..... good thing about that is you learn really quick to not do it again.

I'm am considered a beginning golfer, however my first set of clubs was my fathers Greg Norman blades by Cobra, great clubs but boy did they give me a hard time while I was learning my swing late in high school. Subsequently I put the game away as I went off to college and picked it back up here in my early 30's as my friends and colleagues found a interest in it. But you know how first go, I never got out of my head the look of those classic blades.
My most recent set was the Adam's Idea A4 forged irons with hybrid set and I have nothing but positives to say about those clubs, my only issue is that I hit the ball high, it's not high and short but just higher than most because of my swing. I typically hit my 7-iron 180, 8-iron 160, etc, but the high ball flight was something I wanted to remedy. Well lo' and behold, out comes Adams with what I think are some of the best looking clubs I've ever seen, coupled with a classic blade shape that I never stopped liking and a shaft that compliments my style and well wahlah! their in my bag with no looking back.
My first day out on the course with my new sticks and I had random people asking me about the clubs and complimenting the looks. Are they accurate? yes, as long as your swing is on. are they long? yes as long as your swing speed is up there, are they good looking, absolutely even when your swing is off.. Would I recommend them, resounding yes. And heres why--
The good looks make you want to hit them well and may cause you to consider lessons if your swing is wanting. You'll do this just so you can use them to the benefit of all watching these gorgeous sticks in action. I was out a par-3 the other day, 185 to center of green the gps doohickey was telling me, so I thought I'd tee it a bit close to the grass and give it a solid whack with my new MB2 7-iron. I didn't know what would happen with my new sticks but the Idea A4's would put the ball out there no problem so I figured I'd give it a go, ball landed softly stopped on green and moved to it's left 12-inches toward the cup for what was a pin-high shot that carried the full 185yd, I'm not a long hitter with my other clubs but my iron play is long. either way I am impressed and will tell the world about my new sticks.

So there you have it, a club that not only looks good but makes you a better player by forcing you to improve, what more can you ask for? Hey Adam, do you make putters that make you better?

Absolutely the best muscle back iron made today. I quite playing MB's a few years ago, It seemed many of the new irons from the bigger manufactures had lost feeling or feedback, many just felt numb when you hit them well.
I saw these MB 2's and was intrigued with the look of the irons, but once I played them i was sold. Have about 40 rounds with them and love them more every day. I did pick up a 4,5,6, iron in the Pro Black CB 1 to create a combo set with KBS tour + shafts.
The feel and the distance control of these irons are amazing. The longer irons do require some attention when playing them, an off center shot does give up some distance. If you have a consistent swing these could be your next and last iron for awhile. If your a player and have not tried Adams your missing out.

Have used all brands of product in the past. The new MB2 has NO rivals. Quality, looks, performance and feel are absolutely the best I have experienced in 42 years of golf. I would easily recommend to all players up to 12 handicaps. Don't be intimidated simply because it's a blade; this iron is easy to hit.

I have been playing Adams Clubs for the past eight years, I have been waiting for Adams to come out with a set of MB irons for lefties. It was worth the wait! I have been hitting CB2 irons until now. I was sure it would take time to get used to the MB2's. Wrong! They have the same feel and forgiveness as the CB2, but they are easier to shape shots with. They are the best looking club on the market! The top line is great and they are effortless to swing. Shot a par round with them straight out of the box. Anyone who is serious about their golf game needs a set of M2 irons. As usual Adams just keeps putting out superior golf clubs!

Bought the A12's, loved them so much, I figured, why not try out the MB2's since they could be even better. My plan was to sell one of the sets. Bottom line, I am keeping both sets. The MB2's are the most enjoyable club to play that I have ever owned. Feel is soft, yet "punchy" and powerful. Distance is terrific. Sole grind is absolutely perfect. Forgiveness- not as much as the A12's, as expected, but for a blade, I am really surprised at how forgiving they are, I would say forgiveness is close to the CB1's I demo'ed. Looks? The most beautiful club in the market today. I may just be an Adams iron user for life.
Lastly, please note these are a darker, raw finish. If you are really picky about keeping your clubs scratch free, you may want to look elsewhere. It does not bother me at all. The finish of the A12's is more durable. I love the patina of use. The MB2's are designed to rust. If you like rust, great. However, if you don't like the rusted look, the solution is simple- wipe them down with a bit of oil on a rag from time to time (I use spray-on "Marine Fogging Oil").
I will mostly use the MB2's but keep the A12's for when my swing is off a touch.

Words can’t describe how great of an iron this is, I’m literally speechless... It’s a tour players blade with a CB forgiveness (Or so it feels), I gained 5-8 yards on all clubs, and the raw finish is superb. If you like blades, you will love these!!!

I'm a 4 hanicapper, and played the Adams Pro 2's. Which I loved and had great success. However, I have never expericence a club like the MB2. My first round playing with them I shot a 72. I hit everything no more than 12 feet from the flag. I would recommend these clubs to my grandmother, thats how easy they are to hit. Great Job Adams..
My Favorite Feature The rusting feature.
