The Idea Pro a12 irons are engineered to meet the high standards of design and performance that better players want. The traditionally forged 8620 carbon steel head construction of the Idea Pro a12 iron set provides outstanding control, performance and feedback for the lower-handicap golfer and appeals to better players with a thin top line and improved camber on the sole. Each head is triple milled (on the face, grooves and cavity) for more exacting performance from club to club. A precisely located low center of gravity and progressive heel to toe weighting provides added stability in the long irons and more workability in the short irons and wedges. The progressive offset through the entire set offers better players superior control and workability of their ball flight.

I replaced my Mizuno MP 30's which I loved but realised that they were quite unforgiving compared to Pro A12's after I started using them. My only problem was dialing in the new distances, initially over shooting green by approx 10 yards.
Love the look and feel of these. I have always played Adams fairway woods and now the irons make a good set. Well done.

I just went from CB2's to the new Pro A12's. Played 1 round and can already see so much potential in them. They are a lot less forgiving than the CB2's but that is to be expected. The A12's are a serious weapon and once I figure them out a bit more the clubs will make me a better player.

i brought this set after a rep left me a couple of irons to have a try i thought that i would never change from my mizunos but wow but the control of these iron are gob smacking..i got 12 yards longer on average and i have never shot the lights out of the pins like i do with these sticks so i brought them and i have lost 4 shots and playing off scratch now thanks adams golf very pure

For the past 12 months I have been searching for an iron with all the modern technology without sacrificing usability.
I have demo'd most of the irons in the so called "BIG" four brands on the market without really finding a club I liked. So I decided to look outside the square at some and try one of the lesser lights. ie Adams. I saw the A12 Pro iron in a golf shop and they fitted my eye. Today I demo'd them with the KBS Tour stiff shaft and flushed them. The performance matched the eye appeal to a tee. I could not believe the performance and the consistency these clubs delivered right from the get go and I was pleasantly surprised at the level of forgiveness they offered particularly as they are a club designed for the more advanced player. My search is over and all I have left to do now is work out the right set up for me with my local Pro and I am an Adams convert. I am 55 years old off an 11 handicap. With the A12 pro irons I am confident that I will find another 10 to 15% more distance per iron if today's experience is any indication.

I have always played Mizuno irons MP14, MP37, MP33 and most recently MP52. I was not in the market for irons but saw these at the MASTERS in Tom Watson's bag and admired the look. Tried them at a big box store and liked them. I went to my local club fitter(GOLFTEC ETC), who happens to be one of about 2 dozen pro fitters allowed by Adams to custom build their clubs. I had KBS C-taper shaft stiffs soft stepped to a 5.2 frequency, spine aligned and progressive swingweight, costing about $300 more than the off the shelf box store cost and worth every cent as they are the best irons I have ever owned with each club feeling exactly the same. I have gained a full club and my trajectory has come down to a more penetrating ball flight.

While I was on a holiday on the Gold Coast, my future brother in law surprised me with a set of Adams Idea Pro a12 irons. 3 iron through to PW with stiff KBS shafts. We have played some golf together so he had a bit of an idea what would suit me. Wasn't he right. My first game of golf with them, I produced a 5 over par round on a Greg Norman designed golf course. Not only do the clubs sit and look sensational, they feel amazing. With a nice high flight and solid contact, I could do no wrong. These are a big step up from the Maxfli Revolutions I had. I am hitting the ball half a club longer and with alot more control. These clubs are an exceptional addition to my bag. Love them.

I had recently purchased a set of TM MB's 2011 and was hanging out at my local golf shop and started hitting demos irons to kill time. Hit all the top clubs (Ap2, MP58, TM CB, Callaway razor Tour, Callaway prototype) then picked up the Idea Pro a12 6 iron w/ KBS stiff. I could not put it down. Every time I hit the ball the feeling got even better. I usually take awhile to decide on trading but this was one of my fastest trades. I have played for 2 months with them and have trimmed my handicap 2-3 strokes. These irons are the best feeling, best players irons ever. I still hit demos clubs after my saturday round but nothing comes close to my Adams. They're the best.

I've played MP 52s for a couple years and had no plans to change as they are very nice clubs, and while hitting other clubs any chance I got had found nothing I liked better. UNTIL a couple weeks ago while hanging around a golf shop with my golf partener I picked up one of the Pro A12 irons. As soon as you set it down and look at it you HAVE to go hit it. I have never hit any club this well shot after shot with little effort, and the line is right where you aim it. I'm 63 years young with a 6 hdcp and I have NEVER hit irons this straight. They don't seem to be quite as easy to work the ball as my Mizunos but I'll give that up for straight anyday. I got KBS reg. flex for me as my 170 yd 7 irons are a thing of the past, Ha! but the weight and feel of these clubs at impact is awsome! Also I've always wished I had a higher ball flight with my irons and never found a club that would do it, these do. If your looking for new irons DON'T OVERLOOK these clubs
